What got you started: My husband was deployed in Afghanistan and tried Crossfit for the first time. When he returned home, we both joined a local box!

What is your biggest accomplishment in your sports?
Making it to the Crossfit Games with Team Hustle Hard.
What one or two things do you currently do in your training that are keys to your success?
Strength/aerobic conditioning & following a proper macro diet lead to my success.
What would be your ultimate achievement?
Making it to the Crossfit games as an individual.
How do you set your goals?
I set goals by planning ahead and working towards things that will get me closer to achieving that goal. Being ok with bumps in the road that only make me fight even more.
What is your biggest challenge, and what do you do to manage this challenge?
Biggest challenge at times is balancing training, school, friends/family. I manage this by making some of my training days shorter, setting aside time to study, and most importantly attend social functions as much as possible!
What is your diet like?
Follow a macro set based off my body weight, height, and training regimen. I count about 90-100% of my daily intake.
What 1-2 things do you believe differentiates you from your contemporaries who have tailed off in their athletic participation and abilities?
Consistency and dedication separates me from others.
Do you have a saying or motto that you live your life by?
I try to live my life by the Bible verse, Galatians 6:14. “May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.”
Where do you draw your inspiration from?
I draw my inspiration from leaders in the sport but most importantly from my friends, family, and husband who support me.
What is your 5 year vision? (where do you see yourself in 5 years, can be non sports related)
5 years from now - with children, still competing, and embracing a healthy lifestyle as always!
